From Week #1 to Week #4 after your procedure

  • During this time, you will be using the post-op shoes provided to you.
  • Your feet cannot get wet.
  • The incision must be kept clean
  • You must avoid strenuous activities
  • The pins inserted will be removed by the end of week #4

From Week #4 to Week #6 after your procedure

  • You should wear comfortable shoes for this time. 

  • If you wear close-toed shoes, it is recommended to cover the incision with a bandaid to prevent any irritation, but it should be avoided

From Week #7 to Week #8 after your procedure

  • You may transition into using scar cream on the incision and silicone scar sheets to cover it when wearing shoes or being exposed to the sun. You may also wear sunscreen on the incision since sun exposure can cause hyperpigmentation.
